Job Description

The Retail Sales Associate delivers world-class customer service to all retail customers by receiving and processing packages for courier shipment and operating copiers, fax machines, binding equipment, laminating machines, and point-of-sale devices. The associate advises our valued clients by providing accurate information on our products, services, and best-value options and exhibits excellent customer care! The ideal candidate must be able to lift 50 pounds when needed. The Ideal Candidate has previous retail experience, continued work history, strong computer and internet skills, a high school diploma or GED, a friendly and genuinely helpful attitude, and a professional appearance. What You'll Do:

• Greet customers warmly and determine their needs.
• Provide accurate information about UPS products and services, including shipping, printing, mailbox rentals, and other offerings.
• Efficiently process customer transactions using our point-of-sale system.
• Carefully package items for shipment according to UPS guidelines.
• Operate and maintain store equipment, such as copiers, printers, and binding machines.
• Sort and distribute mail and packages accurately.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and presentable store environment.
• Assist with inventory management and restocking of supplies.
• Answer phone calls professionally and handle customer inquiries.
• Work collaboratively with the store team to achieve goals.
• Other duties and tasks as assigned.

• Ability to lift packages up to 50 lbs occasionally.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous retail or customer service experience is required – we're willing to train the right candidate!
• Availability to work 15-20 hours per week, including evenings and weekends, is required.

The UPS Store in Edmond, OK, is here to help individuals and small businesses by offering a wide range of products and services. We are locally owned and operated, and conveniently located at 2011 W. Danforth Rd, Edmond, OK 73003. Our store hours are M-F, 8 am—6:30 pm; Saturday, 10 am—4 pm; and Sunday, 10 am -3 pm. We do not offer any health insurance, retirement plans, or PTO/ sick pay for this position.
