Job Description

Job Summary

Assists in the coordination of the daily Operating Room/Same Day Surgery/Endsocopy schedule. Performs a variety of secretarial and administrative duties. Maintains departmental daily and monthly statistics/reports.

Qualifications

Education:

Minimum High School Diploma Preferred

Experience:

Minimum two years hospital secretary or scheduling experience. Direct data entry in a timely, efficient, and accurate manner preferred

Other Qualifications

Ability to function under stressful circumstances involving physicians and hospital staff. Familiarity with medical terminology. Must be able to communicate professionally with physicians, hospital staff and outside calls.
