Business Brokerage/Mergers and Acquisitions
BTI Group is the largest business brokerage/mergers and acquisitions firm in the Western United States. Our office in San Francisco, is one of our twelve offices and is expanding its team.
Our mission is to help people get the best possible results when they buy or sell a business. Since 1981 we have brokered the sale of about 6,800 businesses with annual sales of up to $100 million.
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team. As a key player in our organization, you will be responsible for facilitating business transactions, connecting clients with their ideal business opportunity and helping business owners with their exit strategy. In this role, you will leverage your expertise to provide comprehensive guidance to business owners and buyers alike.
Building strong relationships will be at the core of your success, as you engage with a diverse clientele and collaborate with business owners in all industries of all sizes.

Business Broker's Duties & Responsibilities: Assist customers in selling their business, guide them in marketing their business so that interested buyers may find them in a timely manner. Organize ownership transfers. Aid in the bargaining process between buyers and sellers. Perform a variety of marketing tasks, such as listing businesses and setting up viewings to promote them.
Business Broker Requirements: Real estate education or certification is desired but not necessary. A state license is required. If you are not licensed you can obtain your license during the initial training period of three months.
We are seeking sophisticated, hard-working, enthusiastic sales associates who want to earn very high commissions. No experience is necessary, although a background in business ownership, law, accounting, finance, real estate, or sales is helpful. We provide the most comprehensive training and mentoring programs in the industry to help you get up and running as quickly as possible. The position is 100% commission-based. Depending on your experience, we do offer an aggressive commission split.
